Jake began booking entertainment in early 2005. His experience ranges from more than 100 different music acts and over twenty-five entertainment venues. Mr. Weaver's work history includes a restaurant/bar manager in both the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia areas. Jake's entertainment experience began in Video production, including; lighting grip, portable camera, writing, and producing on both a freelance level as well as work for First Generation Communications (Allentown, PA). Mr. Weaver was management for two different bands where his duties were booking national tours, promotions, merchandising, contract negotiations and personal management of band individuals.

Having recently graduated from The University of the Arts with a BFA in Multimedia, Matt's skills and interests range from graphic/web/game design, interactive installations, physical computing, music programming, and concert lighting. Living in Philadelphia for four years has fulfilled Matt's love of the live concert experience and has given him the aspirations to play a role in the music industry and one day own and operate a music venue. His current project LiveMusicPhilly.com is an online concert calendar that serves as a promotional tool and information resource for local artists, venues, and fans. His web and programming skills include XHTML, CSS, Javascript, Flash, PHP, Arduino, Processing, and Max/MSP.

Mitch Beer has been touring and performing live music since the summer of 2004. He has performed over 100 times live with 10 different projects in 7 states since 2006. He was first introduced to Jake Weaver and Matt Wicks in 2006 with his nationally touring project Mogel's Brew. Jake Weaver took over managerial duties for the band in early 2007 and when the project ended in summer of 2007 Mitch, Jake and Matt began the process of forming Backyard Booking and Design. Mitch currently performs with The Q. and Brianne O'Neill while working on other music ventures as well as managing Backyard Booking and Design's finances and the daily workings of the company.

As an aspiring documentary film maker in the local Philadelphia area, Star has worked on various projects at the University of the Arts including her most recent documentary titled, "The Browns." She also documented the 12th Philadelphia International Gay and Lesbian Festival consisting of interviews with various actors and movie goers. With film being her passion, she dreams of creating many documentary jewels. Over the summer, she will be helping with an indie, feature length film and is ready for all its intensity.

First and foremost I'm a musician and Jack of all trades. I've spent the past decade learning the in's and out's of the music industry. From concept to print I've done it all including; web design, print, booking, sound, performance and marketing.
